Districts Under Orange Alert:

1. North 24 Parganas

2. South 24 Parganas

3. East Midnapore

4. West Midnapore

5. Howrah

6. Hooghly

According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal is causing this weather disturbance. Heavy rainfall is expected in the next 24 hours, particularly in South Bengal.
