He is Morari Bapu, a Gujarati spiritual master and reciter of Ramakatha. Bapu himself donated the largest amount to the Ram Temple, says the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Temple Construction Trust.

Morari Bapu has involved himself in the promotion of Ramayana for more than six decades. He conducts Ramakatha at home and abroad. Bapu, himself a devotee of Ram, collected donations of Rs 18.3 crore to build the Indian dream temple. Morari collected and donated this huge amount from various countries. He has already given 11.30 crores to Ayodhya Trust. He has collected Rs 3.21 crore from his supporters through Ramkatha programs in Britain and Europe and has collected a substantial donation of Rs 4.10 crore from America, Canada and other countries, which he will soon donate to the Temple Construction Trust.

In August 2020, Morari Bapu appealed to devotees to donate through an online chat in Pithoria, Gujarat. After that his devotees from India and abroad sent donations. “We have already handed over Tk 11.3 crore to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. "Our total donation will be Rs 18.6 crore," Morari Bapu said in a statement. Morari Bapu has devoted himself to telling the story of Ram for the past 60 years.
