Amartya Sen: The verdict was in favor of Amartya Sen, the controversial notice of Visva Bharati in the land dispute is rejected!

Amartya Sen: Amartya Sen had a 'dispute' with Visva Bharati over only 13 decimal lands.

Bolupur: The verdict in the land case of Nobel laureate Armatya Sen with Visva Bharati was in favor of Armatya Sen. Siuri district court ruled in favor of Armatya Sen in the land grabbing case. The Visva Bharati authority issued an eviction notice alleging that Armatya Sen occupied 13 decimal places of Visva Bharati.

With which the state politics became heated. The case goes to court. Today, the district court in Siuri dismissed Visva Bharati's notice. As a result, Armatya Sen won virtually.

Amartya Sen had a 'dispute' with Visva Bharati over only 13 decimal lands. Amartya Sen opened his mouth in that context. The then Vice-Chancellor of Visva Bharati targeted Vidyut Chakraborty and said that it is not very easy to 'insult' him. Controversy arose over the land bordering Amartya Sen's 'Pratichi' house in Santiniketan.

Visva Bharati has repeatedly claimed that not 1.38 acres but 1.25 acres of land was leased to Amartya's late father Ashutosh Sen. Visva Bharati claims that the remaining 13 decimal lands are "forcibly occupied" by Amartya. However, the state government said that only 1.38 acres of land has been mutated in Amartya's name. After Biswa Bharati wrote a letter alleging land grabbing, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself came to Pratichi and handed over the land documents to her. This time Amartya Sen practically won with that land.
