In addition to Puri's involvement, people all across the nation engaged in special prayers at temples, mosques, and gurudwaras to wish for the success of India's third lunar endeavor. Simultaneously, 150 female students from Al Jamiatul Islamia Islahul Banat madrassa in Delhi's Mandoli conducted a special prayer session just hours before the anticipated landing of the Chandrayaan-3 lander. This event was covered by news agency PTI. Likewise, special prayers were held at a mosque in Srinagar and a temple in Bhubaneswar to seek favorable outcomes for Chandrayaan-3's lunar landing.

Notably, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) arranged a "Yajna" ceremony at Sant Nagar Burari to pray for the triumph of India's ambitious project. Yoga guru Ramdev conducted a “yagya” at the Acharyakulam campus in Uttarakhand's Haridwar, accompanied by priests reciting the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ at a Ganga riverside temple. Their collective prayers were directed towards the prosperous landing of Chandrayaan-3, as reported by PTI.

During the yagya and havan led by Ramdev, Vedic hymns resonated in the air, echoing the hopes for the mission's success from the students of Acharyakulam.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is preparing for the crucial landing of the Chandrayaan-3's Lander Module (LM) on the moon's surface, scheduled around 6:04 pm on this Wednesday. ISRO expressed readiness to initiate the mission’s automatic landing sequence at 5:44 pm.

The process of soft landing is set to commence at 5:45 pm, following internal checks and the moonrise. This period of 17 minutes, commencing at 5:45 pm, is anticipated to be intense as the lander activates its engines in preparation for the landing.

ISRO, the agency responsible for India's space missions, has extended an invitation to schools and educational institutions to livestream this historic moon landing event.

The Chandrayaan-3 mission's current location is approximately 25 km away from the moon's nearest point and 134 km from its farthest point.

Having been launched on July 14, Chandrayaan-3 is a pioneering endeavor. Prior to India's attempt, only the United States, Russia, and China had achieved successful soft landings on the moon. A successful outcome would also signify India's accomplishment in reaching the South Pole of this celestial body for the first time.
